Coming Home!!

We are in just a few days from coming home.  A couple more days and we'll be on a flight back to Hawaii.  We're going to try to get phone soon as well as transportation.  We'll try to contact family and friends as soon as we can.  Hope you are all doing well.  See you later.

11 months since last post

WOW, I knew it was a long time ago, but that really was awhile.. now i'm getting ready to Leave the desert in just a few weeks.  I know not many people read this anymore, but I thought I'd write a few words even just for myself.  It's been a long and quick year.  It's nice to see the end very near in sight.  We're excited looking forward to having somewhat of a normal life.  Going out to dinner, seeing a movie, taking a drive and not seeing military folk everywhere i go.  I'm looking forward to having friends and family visiting.  That should be a lot of fun.  And also going on leave to CA and KY that will be refreshing and adding Vegas in the beginning will be an added bonus.  I miss everyone and I hope to see lots of people again whenever that time will be.  This has definately been an adventure and there are more adventures to come, the biggest bummer part is being away from friends and family for so long.  So in my final words Say this, "Do you really appreciate your friends and family?"  It's easy to take for granted them being close so that you could see then anytime you want.  I say, take advantage of that time because you never know when life will take you on some wild adventure.  Adventures are good and they help make you a better person just as close friends and family are.  Everything has an affect on  you life.  Find the positive in every situation and you'll probally live a lot more happier life with much more positive memories then negative.  I don't see this last year in the desert and negative memory.  There were tough times, but I learned a lot and grew as a indivdual.  I'll take back experiences that will make me a more rounded person overall and I'm pleased to see how much i've grown since I've graduated college.  Thats my peace.  To anyone that reads this, best wishes to you and hope that you're having a good summer.  Take care

Getting used to it, but still Hot

We'll, we've been here for about 2 weeks.  Good Times.  Lots and Lots of training and not the musical type.  But a lot of it is important for later down the road.  We should be leaving soon.  I hope everyone is doing well.  I know many of you are starting band camps, school and sort.  Good luck to everyone and best wishes.

It was really hot in our tent today so I got Hannah to get out for awhile just to get out.  Luckily the computer lab wasn't busy at all today, and it was a lot cooler.  So thats a nice change of pace.  Anyways.  I'll keep it short.  Just wanted to say Hi and that I miss everyone, and I hope everyone is enjoying whatever they are doing.  Peace out from the Sand.

We made it safe

Just a quick note from 13 ahead of CA.  That we are safe, ( me and Hannah).  You're probally safe too.  So that good as well.  Had a nice LONG trip.  but it was nice because we were in 1st Class.  First time ever.  And what better time then when you travel for a FULL 24 hours.  Go Dogs.  Anyways, don't know how much I'll be able to post.  For now, I'm hoping at least once a week.  But you never know.  For secruity reasons I have to keep a lot of things Vague as far what we do.  But I can say this it's HOT.  But I'm actually dealing with it ok.  I think growing up in the Central Vally of CA and has made me used to Dry HOT heat.  and Aug is the hottest month of the year.  Yes!!! But I'm hard core. Anyways Hope your all doing well.  Take care.

Question: What's the hottest weather you have been in??
